ATS Resume Builder stores all resume data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.

Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal data. ATS Resume Builder operates entirely on your local device. There are no user accounts, no analytics, and no tracking.

How Your Data Is Stored

Your resumes, job descriptions, ATS scores, and settings are stored in a local database on your computer. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export or back it up yourself.

AI Features

When you use AI-powered features (bullet rewriting, resume tailoring, AI review), your resume text and the relevant job description are sent to a secure API relay for processing. This relay:

Proxies requests to the AI service (Anthropic Claude)
Does not store, log, or retain any resume content
Uses rate limiting by an anonymous device identifier (no personal data)

AI features are optional and require purchasing credit packs. The free ATS scoring engine runs entirely offline with no data transmitted.

Gmail Integration

If you choose to connect your Gmail account to send resumes directly from the app, ATS Resume Builder requests permission to send emails on your behalf. We do not read, store, or access any other email data. OAuth tokens are stored locally on your device and can be disconnected at any time.

In-App Purchases

Credit packs are purchased through the Mac App Store. Apple handles all payment processing. We do not receive or store any payment information.

Third-Party Services

ATS Resume Builder uses the following third-party services only when you explicitly trigger AI features:

Anthropic (Claude API): processes AI rewrite and tailoring requests
Apple App Store: processes in-app purchases
Google OAuth: optional Gmail integration for sending resumes

No advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or tracking services are used.

Children's Privacy

ATS Resume Builder does not collect any personal data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
